I remember hearing a story about this web site on NPR several months ago. A guy asked people to mail him a postcard with some secret on it. Well, word spread and he got hundreds and hundreds of post cards. The owner of the site has published a book with the postcards in it, and has a web site where new postcards are published every week. I think it goes back to the fundamental need for confession that's part of the human condition. Apparently this process of submitting hidden secrets is a way for folks to admit things "out loud" that they have not been able to admit to themselves until then, and thus begin a healing process.
