On Wednesday, we rented a couple Wave Runners and spent a couple hours zipping around the lake. Below, you can see pictures of Ryan's dad with Shannon (a mentally retarded woman who they take care of) giving a victory wave. The next picture shows Ryan's dad and his step-mom aboard the jet ski.
Here's a picture of Ryan's sister, Erin, with her son Jonathan and her husband Mike looking on. Jonathan and Ryan are exchanging water-gun squirts with each other.
On Friday, we rented a pontoon boat and all 12 of us went out for a ride and a swim. Ryan enjoyed being skipper. Ryan's siblings - Sam, Daniel, and Liz, can be seen standing up at the front of the boat. Liz's roommate Diamond joined us for the week as well. A native Californian, she was enjoying her first trip to "Middle America".
Here, you can see Shannon and Beverly with Joyce. The last picture shows Ryan's grandfather and his companion Diane. At 85 years old, Ryan's grandpa even went swimming with us in the lake! I was impressed with the plucky old man.
