Weekend in Dallas

This last weekend, Ryan and I flew to Dallas to visit friends there. On Saturday, we went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. We specifically wanted to visit the Japanese Gardens there. It just so turns out that the Japanese Society of Fort Worth was putting on a festival that day, with all kinds of demonstrations: they had shiatsu back rubs, flower arranging, traditional dancing, traditional instruments, pottery-making, etc. The weather was about 75 and sunny. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Our friends Nigel and Jason joined us for the afternoon.
