Lilly and Abby enjoyed "helping" me make Lilly's blue Frozen birthday cake and cupcakes (although after seeing the output in Abby's diaper after eating said cake, Ryan promised me we would never have blue icing again!)
Thank goodness for the dollar store! They had Frozen paraphernalia galore.
Lilly had a number of friends from church over, including brother and sister Miley and Miles, as well as Josiah and sisters Zion and Zuri.
After the cake and presents, the kids got to play "Frozen buckets" (not to be confused with Bozo buckets!) The kids had a really hard time staying behind the line but they enjoyed the little prizes.
Every time we went to the grocery store for about 6 months, Lilly would want to touch the giant Elsa balloon. I surprised her with bringing the balloon home for her. It'll be in her room for a good 6 months until Elsa is no longer standing upright. Elsa also made for a good photo prop. (Hey, she was cheaper than an Elsa impersonator!)
Here's a group shot of all the kids being silly.
When the party was done and the girls had taken their nap, Daddy decided to have Lilly and Abby help him build the fence around the AC unit. These girls will know how to wield a hammer.
For dinner we enjoyed some pizza and more cake. What a great way to end the day!
Here's a video from the party.
